Hello! My name is Joshua Otani and I am 23 years old. I am from San Jose, California. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Here are some recent updates on my life: Last June, I returned home from serving a two-year mission in Taipei Taiwan, Mandarin speaking. I am currently finishing up my undergraduate at Brigham Young University majoring in Psychology and minoring in Family Life. I have aspirations in becoming a Licensed Family and Marriage Therapist, specializing in sexual addiction and betrayal trauma at the family, couple, and individual level. I am currently working at Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Human Service Worker. I am not sure where I want to go to Master's School yet, but I have another year to decide that. I am passionate with anything to do with self improvement of mental, physical, and spiritual health. For mental health, I spend time writing in a journal, taking breaks after work and studying, going for walks, meditating, and reading self-help books. For physical health, I love exercising including jogging, lifting weights, playing ultimate Frisbee and volleyball. For spiritual health, I set aside time each morning to pray, read from the Book of Mormon and write in my journal.
